They do have room darkening shades at most stores. They are the are the roll up kind. I actually use 2 twin sheets folded over a cutrain rod side by side and have a lace valance on top. This makes the room darker and I also have the roll up shade.
Good luck! ↑ |
Try using Roman Blinds...they let some light in so it's not completely dark but they help to keep the brightness out. Just get a dark color. Or hang a sheet thoes always work. You can also do a search online for Room Darkening Blinds, you get a ton of results or go into your local walmart or any store that sells home furnishings and talk to someone about what ur looking for. Good luck ↑ |
to Christina-

I saw those in the catelog. ↑ |
this idea is kinda ghetto! But sometimes I use tin foil. It is cheap and it works. So just an idea!! LOL ↑ |
My mom buys those from JcPenney ↑ |
You could also hang a dark colored tarp in the window ↑ |
hi, they do sell the liner to attach to your curtains or look up online blackout curtains and also walmart.com, i loked into them for the summer to keep the house cool and in winter keep it warm cuz i guess they help save money in the long run, also if you have a fan run that at night in the room cuz it helps kids sleep later and through the night its the best thing ever, it kinda soothes them and drownds out the sounds in the house ↑ |

These window shades do not allow any light through the material, and they're backed by white for a uniform window coverings appearance on the front of your home. An occasional vacuuming is all that's needed to keep these window shade ... (see Detailed Info Tab below)
