hey peoples :-)
i am compiling a list for a scavenger hunt / car rally, and am hoping for some ideas
they have to be free (dont want people having to pay) and not include a camera...(or though that sounds like a cool one!!!)

i do have at the moment
1. get a kmart docket with todays date from X shopping centre
2. go to _______rd and find 4 gold pieces of macaroni
3. retrieve feather from lady in floral hat on ________st
4. fill in date of birth and FULL name and title of statue at _______park
hahahahahaha im looking for at least 15 things maybe 20
we are doing a trial run before ...but want it to last about 2 hours. ↑ |

| What is a car rally? Is this people getting together and meeting up, then doing a scavenger hunt around town? I was just learning about those. If it is, I think Winn, or someone found some funny ones. I thought you had to go get things, but they had things you had to do on the list. It was funny to. ↑ |

| yup thats it rain.....im doing one for our fundraising and i want the fun ones that are free........our fundraiser is a family day....must have at least one child in car under 15 as the end of the scavenger hunt is a obstacle course (like the amazing race) where the kid / kids do the obstacles....hahahahahaha ↑ |

we are spray painting the macaroni and spreading it along the road side on the day....actually its beside the footpath.
my cousin is being lady in hat for the day...someone has a pink feather duster, that theyre pulling apart...LOL she is under strict intructions NOT to talk to the contestants...hahahhah otherwise the race WILL NEVER END!!!! ↑ |

| it did marija how bout speed requiirments penalties for those that take too long and those that do it to quick points for the right answer and four people in a vehicle or take a small container and plant it along the rd some where and when some one finds it they drop it off some where else maybe put something in side of it ↑ |

wow dina...been a while but thats the first time i seen you write something helpful....WOW
kudos to you....
we will have time penalties ...a time frame for the race to finish...
Everyone gets a showbag at the begining instructions, map and passport (for the required stamps at certain key points)...and a showbag at the end for participation...full of goodies.
my aim......that everyone goes home feeling like they had the best time and will return for the next one!!!! ↑ |

we are having five obstacles courses for the kids to run through until the first team crosses the line.
one of them is a number tree...LOL
we have permission to use a community park as our start and end.........they have to run around the park looking for this particular tree that has folded bits of paper with a number inside....they have to find THEIR own registration number and bring it to the finish line. ↑ |

it is FUN ...i did one for my school a couple of years back....it was sooooo funny, it was only a little school and there were about 20 families involved ...it was funny because my mother sat in a field and people were running and playing pushing over competitors...laughing so hard they couldnt run. :-)
it was a great feeling knowing everyone had a great time for such a small expense.
this one is a bit different because of the size...there are currently 50 registrations (its all prepaid) and the race is still 2mths away!!!! i hope it doesnt grow too big...there are only 10 on the committee...it will be a long day :-) ↑ |
