did you all see on CNN the baby girl that was born on oct.24. she was born at 21 weeks and 6 days gestation, weighing less than 10 ounces and 9 1/2 inches long. the pics are amazing. she was barely longer than a pen. anyways, she goes home tomorrow, weighing in at 4 1/2 pounds.

I didn't know they could abort up till 24 weeks. IMO That is so wrong. A friend of ours had a baby that weighed almost 1lb and you should have seen those tiny diapers.

I saw that!! I have taken care of 22-23 weekers when I was working, but many times even at 23 weeks it was unlikely they would survive (and end of 22 weeks) that is truly a miracle!! An african american girl has the best chances....that is well known in nicu, and obviously she is one! Wimpy white boys do the worst!! Yes, abortions can be done through that period which is why after taking care of them and nurturing them I could Never ever imagine harming them.

they will only do it up to 24 weeks if there are serious problems or the mother or babies life is in danger, if not then the limit is 12 weeks.
