ok every body sorry I haven't visited for some days now but I have been running around with my son like crazy and work and to make things even worse I got the darnn flu.!. Well i am happy to report that I finally got to take my son to the orthopedic on 11/8 and he got the cast and he will be getting it taken off on the 28th of this month . I am so happy I got good news I was told it was just a tiny fracture almost hairline like and that it didn't even go inside the bone, and that it was already healing and well he is doing fine.
We did have a bit of trouble the next day , because since he's got eczma it started to make him break out really bad since theey place the cast up to his knee and the whole leg turn really red really bad rash and to make thing wors the bandeges got stuck to his skin it got so bad that i had to take him to the dr. andhe had this very bad odor coming from the inside of the cast and the dr tol me to get him some benadryl but didn't work so I graved some of his rx elidel and stuck my finger as far ass I could in the cast and lift the bandages and squeesed it inside and it didn't hurt so his dad came by to visit I told him and he pulled out some of those sissor like tools that you would cut cables or strim cables with and cut about 3 inches of the cast and now my son still has the rach not as bad but every thing else went away. the itching ,odor, swelling, and redness. If I get in trouble for this oh well I rather see me in troublee than see my son in pain like he was.
I want to thank all of you because each and every one of you wished us good luck and was very supportive.

hi sunnshine thats great your sons foot is better.
my oldest son suffered from chronic eczema when he was little.
Was actually hospitalised for 4mth of his first 2 years. Its terrible to watch them go through all the pain and irritation so i could imagine how your little one felt with a cast
