i usually do mine the night before halloween. but i see people already doing it. isn't that a bit early? won't they dry up and shrivel up by halloween? i know when i make my scary pumpkin, i make pointy teeth, and after only a couple days the teeth are curling inwards and it looks like shit....lol..

i know...pointless post...but i'm bored and my kids don't wanna play with me. lol...

I'm disgraceful. I don't carve a pumpkin. I might start when Joey's older and starts taking an interest.

We usuall only do it a couple of days before Halloween because it is too hot and they rot here. We have a field trip on Wednesday with Colin's class to the pumpkin patch.... I bought some stencils and a carving kit. We are going to do something other than a traditional Jack O'Lantern..... Should be cool!!!

Here is what we do, we carve it a day or two a head, then you place it in a plastic trash bag, add some water to the bottom tie it up and put it in the fridge till your ready for it.

I always rinse it out just because i like it neat and clean, but its been 2 years since i did on :( next year def!!

I haven't carved a pumpkin in years but when I did it usually was about a week before Halloween.
