I was just wondering if any of the working moms out there find time to exercise, work and be a mommy?? If so what is your secret?!

I don't have time to do anything. I just cook, clean, change diapers and feed the toddler. I cook a nice meal, then my seven year old spends all his time complaining about it having 'bits' in and the toddler just throws it around *LOL*

At least my husband is grateful, but he won't wash up afterwards *LOL*

Who'd be a mom???

my daughter is 11 weeks old and I am getting depressed about my weight, its not coming off as fast as I had hoped but it is soooo hard to find time to exercise after work because I feel guilty for leaving my baby with another sitter after I pick her up from daycare. I tried the whole putting her in a stroller thing she HATES it and screams the whole time. I am watching my food intake and stuff but I feel lazy for not exercising.

I workout on my lunch, my job has a free fitness and I eat at my desk. I have too much to do before I get up so I can't do it in the morning. Mommy time please...only time I have me time is either by sending everyone to their room for a movie or after they have went to sleep for the night. Even when the twins where months old I would prop them in front of the TV for about an hour. I have 4 kids and single so I have many strategies...good luck

I meant "mommy time" as in spending time with your children not personal time...I dont expect to have personal time anymore.

Tired...wish I could help. I workouted like crazy before my son and before I went back to school. Now I have school, a child, a demanding job. I have been really depressed just remembering my body the way it was before. I did go running this morning, but I have to be extremely organized: clothes are ready and out, breakfast is waiting, and I have to wake up at 5:30. I am tired too.

Help I just want to tone up the bod. It's kind of a hard thing to do Pilates when you have a 5 year old stretching at your band and a 1 year old jumping on top of you. =D
Any suggestions???

Nicole, when my son does that to me I take advantage of it - what better way to tone up/get fit than a bit of rough and tumble with the kids? I found out by accident that if you lie on your back holding your child infront of you with the use of your bended knees you can bench press them!! Or, lie on the floor with feet flat on the floor and child between your knees. You can do stomach crunches and reward your child with a lick of a lollilop each time you get to the top. The child will undoubtedly want you to keep doing it! If you are doing pilates why not get your five year old to sit on your back while you are doing your 'plank' - that has got to be resistance training! Hee Hee! PS I am not a fitness trainer so I take no responsiblity for any injuries !! LOL
