What do other working moms do about dinner? I feel very strongly about family meal time (3 and 6 year old and husband) but I do not have time for a lot of cooking. I have a few good, quick ,easy crock pot meals but looking for anything quick and easy that kids will eat.

Cut up any left over meat and saute I use a spray like butter flavored pam) in pan with some water ot broth ( with any veggies Frozen, canned or fresh add spices like basel or parsley Hand full of mixed nuts and low fat cheese.
You can add rice ot pasta. For diffrent take on the same type meal I have also used 3 teaspoons of muchroom soup or any cream soup I have on hand.
For Kids that do not eat veggies like my step son I make ground meat ( low fat) with taco seaoning ( low sodium) and crushed tomatos(small can) and put part skimmed cheese on the top . His has it with toast.
I saute a lot because you can make many meals the same way but they tast very diffrent because you chage the veggies and meat spices ya know what I mean .
Hope this helps some??
Best regards

Take a can of cream of chicken, and 1/2 tub sour cream and heat on stove. Add diced chicken. Cook some brocolli and cut it up and add to chicken mixture. Put in pan and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Heat in oven until cheese is melted. (350 degrees) Serve with white rice. yummmmmyy. Some people like to add the rice to the chicken mixture, but my family prefers to just put the chicken goop on top of the rice.

Chilli....1lb. hamburger drained,1 packet brooks seasoning,1 can hunts tomato sauce,1can brooks diced tomato(medium with onion),and 2 cans brooks beans.Combine all ingredient and add 1and a half to 2 cans water.Mix well and heat on low to med. heat stirring occassionally til thoroughly heated.(I usually heat mine about an hour before serving). It's a very easy recipe and very little work or cleanup but it is good chilli.I serve mine with peanut butter sandwiches and block cheese sliced, and sour cream for topping. It's good.

Homestyle bakes by Banquet are simple to make, everything you need comes in the box,(you may need to make 2 boxes at a time though) to be sure there's enough to go around. But my family enjoy's them. Crockpot Classics are good too!Especially the beef stew!

I always find cheesy tuna pasta a good one. It takes no longer to prepare than boiling the pasta. Put pasta on to boil. Whilst that is doing, open tin of tuna and grate some cheese. Also get some sweetcorn (frozen or tinned). 4 mins before pasta is cooked chuck in the sweetcorn. When pasta is cooked stir in grated cheese so it is melted. Stir in tuna - Done. My husband hates pasta, tuna and cheese but loves this recipe. I will also add in a chopped red onion for real flavour - but your littlest one may not like that so plate his before adding.
Have you thought about doing set meals for each day of the week? You can double up your portions and freeze the other half and have it the following week. If not maybe you could try a meal planner for the week so you know what you are doing. OR (which is what I do) if you have a free morning once a week, get your husband to take the kids swimming and dedicate that morning to batch cooking. I then freeze the recipes and warm through as required. It does not impair the taste particulary if you have used fresh products.
