my birthday is coming up soon and i don't know what to do either. i have a guest list of about 10 people and i don't want something really expensive. only girls coming, but my cousin who is like my best friend is a boy and has to come and i wanted to invite one of his friends to keep him occupied but my mum said no other boys. i don't know whether i should invit him or not. he will be coming to my family party but should he come to my friends one as well? i live in australia and am thinking about going shopping with my friends and two of my friends coming to sleep over but that won't really go well with my cousin. HELP. maybe you could talk to your daughter and get her cut down the guest list and invite maybe 5 13 year olds and the rest her own age because she has to have friends in her own year level right because when the 13 year olds leave school what is she going to do? You could always be in a seperate room to the party and every once in a while check on them without talking to them, unless someone talks to you, don't enter the room just stick your head in the door and make sure everything is ok. make sure you tell your daughter this so she knows and if you don;t and she finds out she won't be to happy and most likely embarress herself in front of her friends or yell at you after the party. ↑ |

Things You Shouldnt Do On a 13th B-Day!
-never go bowling.. its Boring and immature
-dont do a home scavenger hunt .. they are too original and cheesy
-Never do themed party (hawaiin,costume party ect.) those are for 2yr olds!
-dont have your party with relatives.. Your friends will think its Creepy hanging out with your Grandpa or aunt or whatever!
-Dont have pizza! at least every B-day has pizza .. it gets very irratating
-Never do Paintballing.. Its a very forgetful Game
-For the *moms* dont stalk ur kid 24/7 She will get so annoyed! Shes a teen Already!!! let her be!
-Never do a Suprise party.. Teens are picky and they might think ur idea is super lame!!!
-Dont have a Dance party .. at this stage of age .. young teens find it stupid to be dancing infront of evryone *Especially boys*
Only have a Dance Party If you know Your daughter likes to dance
-Dont hire a DJ Just Play the music yourself.. Seriously its not that hard to press play on a Radio !!!!
-Oh and one last things! make sure ur b-day is a sleepover.. sleepovers are MUCH MUCH MUCH FUNNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ↑ |

HAve a sleepover/scavenger hunt/movie mania
Have her invite 10 or 12 friends and each of them has to bring a movie. The scavenger hunt is easy yet fun. You can drop them off at the local mall and give each team a list Of items to find. Since the movies and scavenger hunt are free, you can go all out on decoration and prizes for the winners of the scavengerhunt.

lets see
you can have her and a few friends go to the mall and to dinner and you can keep an eye on them...but not hoover over them. you know what i mean? like while they are in one store, you could be in the one next to it and watch for them but make it look like you dont know them, you are just some random person walking around the mall. when they go out to dinner, you can sit like 3 tables away and keep an eye on them, therefore if they need you, you will just be a few steps away!
