this is a bit random but i jst wanted to ask somthing, ok so for the past 2 and a half weeks i have been feeling onoff sick all day everyday and feel constantly tired and constipated, back cramps ects, to be honest i thought most of the sings on pregnancy! i did test today coz i was due on a few days ago but test was neg and no period, i am still bfeeding my first and have been told periods can be late, lol i swear im not imagining it! i guess what i wanted to no is if anyone else has had an experiance like this and can breastfeeding cause pregnacy like symtoms (i am partially breatfeeding and weaning my 9 month son at the mo) this constant sickness is doing my head in! thanks jo ? ↓

I have never heard of these symptoms being caused by breastfeeding. You may be getting one heck of a period, you are weaning. I swear that was the worst one I have ever had in my whole life. Oh the cramps ... and it lasted forever. I am not sure about the nausea though. If you are having sex and are not using protection there is always the possibility of pregnancy. Breastfeeding is NOT a form of contreceptive. You may want to try and test again in a few weeks. I am sorry I don't have a better answer for you. Keep us updated. ↑

hi, well is not the first period since i started weaning, i started weaning at 5 and a half months on helth visitors orders and hes now 9 months so have had a fair few, will let u no what happens!! ↑
