| First of all your daughter is going to love her dad regardless of how much of an asshole he is, he's her dad she's suppose to. Secondly, name your baby anything you want to name her she's your baby. We didn't tell a soul what we were going to name our daughter, because the first couple of names we bounced off people we got some negative remark for one reason or another. Either someone went to school with an annoying person with that name or they just plain hated it. Whether they hate my daughter's name is beyond me because noone will tell you they hate the name if you've already given it to your child. Just name her whatever you want and besides he may change and become a loving, involve dad some day, people do change! ↑ |

| Kristina you're so right! I gave up even talking about baby names because people are so critical. I did lleak a few at work and didn't say if any of them were the one, they did a poll in the company newsletter- small company and close knit group. Many people liked the name that we had secretly picked, but I even had one person criticise me for not having the name picked out a month before I was due. Can't make everyone happy. Go with what you feel in your heart and they will all love your baby so much that they won't say anything once she's here and will soon forget all of the drama. After a few days they won't be able to see her with any other name anyway. I know my mom hated the name we picked out for my son, questioned it when I was in the hospital but kept her mouth zipped and a few days later admitted she couldn't see my son being anything else. At least your boyfriend blessed you with your pregnancy, even if he's not there anymore, at least he did that right. Take care! ↑ |
