Well we had the scan and there were two long legs and a little something else inbetween then. We are having a boy. I cried before the ultrasound as I knew our bub would be a little boy, dh had spoken about having a daughter so much it actually felt like we had lost her, when he said "Ellie" (Elenore) after we found it was a boy I was teary, but at the same time I was so excited as we have a gorgeous boy, and he is gorgeous as I have 3D photos of him to prove it. Our boy is super cute. ↓

| How sad when you should be rejoicing. You and your husband sound so selfish. I'm a lurker here and see how many of you girls have lost your babies and you, mom2be, how long it took you to get pregnant and then you come on here acting as though you were pregnant with a daughter and you lost her!!!!! You should be grateful to God for blessing you with a baby and not being teary about not having a girl. But then again, you're the type of person who would have killed her own baby if something was wrong with it according to any tests you took. That makes you even more selfish because those tests can be wrong. I hope you take a long hard look at your life and make changes because you're going to be a mum and have to raise a baby. ↑ |

congrats on the little boy! i just had my first boy after having two girls and it was so exciting to finally get a boy! and i know just how you felt when you found out you weren't having a girl. with gracie i just knew i was going to have a boy and so did my husband and then we found out that she was girl and it didn't kinda sting at first.
and just ignore mychild....it's an idiot! what you had was a very normal reaction. i even read an artical in a parenting magizine about how a lot of women "moarn" the son or daughter they didn't have when they have a baby a different sex than what they had planned.
i think everyone just ignore mychild so it goes back to lurking and leaves everyone alone! ↑ |
