i've always used the nuby cups from walmart. they have a rubber top and spout like a bottle so the girls had a easier time learning how to drink from them as opposed to the hard spouted ones. i've cole using one. he doesn't really "suck" on it yet though. he tips it back and waits for something to come out of it and he'll chew on the spout but he doesn't have the hang of drinking out of it yet.

Hahaha, no. I'm here : )
11 more days. My OB offered to do it next Wednesday instead, but I think that's too soon. I need next week to prepare as well LOL

I have Kaden using the Rubbermaid Reusable Drink Boxes. They are easy to clean and you can replace the straws with regular drinking straws (cut to size) when they get gross. He has been using them since about 7 months I think. They are the best ones for us- we tried all different types and brands.

I tried to change Mia straight onto one, she drank for a bit but didn't like it.
So I bought some teets for her normal bottles. They're the same shape as a sippy cup but they're latex makin' it easier to suck from and she loves them.
I'm thinkin' of changin' her back to just a regular beaker again next week

I buy them at Safeway. They sell them everywhere though. They are usually with the food storage containers and bags. I pay $1.99 each.

I think I started C with the nuby or Nuk sippy cups. The one kinda like lacirrom describe. It WAS spill proof because unless he would bit down down on it nothing would come out. I didn't lke it at all because it seems like Christian didn't get the concept he had to bit down to get juice. He would just start sucking on it and nothing would come out. It was fustrating. I didn't like that type of cup.

I switched to a normal spout. And all i really had to teach him is to hold it the proper way and he took to it. He's a pro now, he's 10 months. I started around on the sippy cups around 7months.

He's on a regular sippy cup. And he knows how to tilt it and get the rest of juice and everything.

But with the regular ones, they are NOT spill proof. If he decides to hold it upside down or shake it, liquid gets everywhere.
