Hello - not sure if anyone on here is here from when I was last on when I was pregnant with my daughter who is now 17 mnths. Well we have just decided to try for our second and have recently come off the pill! Yay, Anyways just had a question, I finished taking my pill perhaps 2 weeks ago and then had my period, which finished about 5 days ago, last night I then had some light blood - like at the end of the period - does anyone else experience this when stopped taking the pill - my cycle is probably all out of whack - but if anyone can advise - thanks! ↓

YES... I remember you, I'm Lauren, my son Tyler is now 18 mo and I'm not pregnant, but still come on this site!

any who, When I came off the pill this last time, the switch and the stress caused me to miss my period for an entire month... I didnt have any bleeding, but I was out of whack for alittle while and then when i finally got my period it was almost a month late and the next one came a week earlier than expected!

The first time though, I got pregnant with in2 weeks of being off the pill!

What pill were you on and how did you like it? I'm looking to start again and I'm going to try a different brand this time around. ↑

Hi there,
Yes I had Bethany and she just turned 17 months. I am really not sure if I want to be pregnant right away as we are going on holiday at the end of Jan and if my morning sickness is anything like last time it will be an interesting holiday, but we wanted to conceive on holiday or just after - hence coming of the pill now so that my body can adjust. However if it happens now - ce sera sera. I am on Levlen ED, though I am in Australia and the brands are probably different. ↑

I thought that you had to wait about 3 months after coming off the Pill before trying for a baby, because the Pill could still be in your systems and damage a developing embryo. That's what I read anyway, but maybe not.

I do remember your nickname, but can't really remember you. I had been known as Briseis. But I'm Gill, and have a 14-month-old son, Joey. I'm not pregnant either, and not trying. But like Lauren, I can't seem to leave the place! ↑
