OK so we're moving in mid May and it's right in the middle of my oldest daughter's b-day who will be turning 8, we will be in a new town so she doesn't know anyone to have a party, and the house will be all boxes since we are just moving in. Any cool suggestions as to how to still make her b-day a fun day for her????

Make it a special night out, a special family birthday at a fun place. Invite just family and maybe a special friend from her "old neighborhood", although with 3 siblings, you could really keep it all family. Then maybe take her out to the toy store to pick a special bday present. It would be a great break for all of you since you will have just moved house.

Most restaurants have a special cake and will sing happy birthday, if no cake, have a cake and ice cream for when you get home in the evening.

Maybe have a b-day get together before you all get set to leave, is that possibel? With her current friends???

Then when you all get into the new place make her b-day just for you guys all together more intimate.

If you wanna have two b-days, that is hahaha
