you may just need to let the tylenol set in -- my guess is he realized how sore he is from the shots, and the tylenol hasn't kicked in to take it away yet. Good luck!

my dr told me to keep it in her for 24hrs to prevent a fever and help with soreness. those shots make the babies feel like crap. kendra was a bit fussy a few hours after hers, but I think giving her tylenol every 4-6hrs helped alot.

I'm afraid of bringing Jasmine for her 2 month shots. I know she needs them, so im not saying im not going to take her... I just know she's going to feel soo awful afterwards. Did Braden ever stop crying?

COART, I KNOW YOU DON'T BREASTFEED, BUT WHEN CHRISTIAN USED TO GET HIS SHOTS, I HAD A TECHNIQUE. AS SOON AS SHE WOULD DO IT, I WOULD WHIP OUT MY BOOB AND IMMEDIATELY START BREASTFEEDING HIM. IT WORKED! BUT, MY LITTLE MAN WOULD BE ALL OUT OF BREATH AND WANTING TO CRY, BUT I GUESS THAT MILK TASTED TOO GOOD THAT HE NEVER WOULD. BUT HE ALWAYS WOULD OPEN HIS MOUTH SO WIDE TO SCREAM AND I WOULD CATCH HIM BEFORE HE COULD DO IT.

OH, BY THE WAY, I HAVE CRIED AT EVERY NEEDLE CHRISTIAN HAS HAD TO GET. HE HAD TO GET STITCHES IN HIS HEAD WHEN HE WAS 2 1/2-3 YEARS OLD B/C HE FELL AT DAYCARE. AND WHEN THE ER WAS STITCHING HIM, BLOOD WAS JUST POURING, THEY PUT ME OUT OF THE DAMN ROOM B/C I WAS HYSTERICAL!

Christiansmommy, that's pretty funny (whipping your boob out not crying) I'm not sure I could do that. My Ped. is a male and I'm not sure what it is, but he's young and kind of good looking, plus he's not my Dr. he's my kids doctor, so all that combined I think I'd be too uncomfortable. My Dad gave me a dvd of the birth (filmed from the waist up only) and I knew the Ped. had been there but I thought he was just off to the side and only came in at the last minute, but in the video he's leaning against the wall just watching the whole time and every once in a while he'd lean in and get a closer look. I'm kind of embarassed now. =)

yes, i remember those days.....he's almost 5 now.

girl, you ain't seen nothin'. at christian's birth, there was a pre-med/med class in there too! there were about 7 students (all young soon-to-be obstetricians) and for most of them, it was their first birth to witness. by the time i had pushed out my 9 pounder, all the girls were in tears. it was so funny. i didn't care though. they even asked my permission first.

lol ya after i had Tyler, a whole class of med students were there and they asked if they could all feel my belly to find my uterus, it was 7 students and 2 teachers, and that whole day my nurse was one of the students and then my last day at the hospital i had another student nurse, and he was a male, and he was soo nervous, it was kinda funny, he kept fumbling with every thing lol
