My son is 18, still a senior in high school, lives withme and stepdad. He has always been in our custody, with only a "buddy" as a bio dad living in another state. WE recently found out he is smoking hookah, cigars, and going to strip bars. Surely there is more we do not know. Bio dad makes comments such as,"OMG my son is doing things I did when I was 18". He says nothing to our son about the bad behavior, probably encourages it. I realize he is 18 and old enough to smoke hookah, and cigars here in our state. But, when I ask him not to do it, to make better decisions, etc, he thinks I am a prude, and says his dad doesn't have a problem with it. What else can I say? Other than he will not do any of this at our home.
