hi there zoe,
I'm afraid to say, there's not alot you can do to fix her hair. You could try a deep conditoning treatment, but i doubt it'll be sucsessful. GHD's are well known (if you ask any reputable hairstilist) to be very bad for hair. It's okay for short but if you have long hair GHD's are a real no-no.
My advice is if she still want's it long, go for some good quality hair extensions. Take these to a salon and get them to cut ALL of her damaged hair off ((Otherwise new hair will be just as bad)) and then get it cut into a style that makes the hair extensions look like part of her hair. ↑ |
I am basically saying, there is no real way to fix damaged hair other then getting it cut. ↑ |
Hi, id suggest taking her to a good reputable hair salon and get some advice from them. In the meantime try using pantene repair and protect shampoo and conditioner. I took my 5yr old swimming last summer and the chlorine must have been too strong her hair ended up a matted mess. Her hair is thick and is down to her knees, I thought Id have to have hers all cut off, but after using pantene (lots of it) it was thankfully ok. Try it youve nothing to lose. But defo seek advice before cutting it all off. If you need to get it cut then buy her some hairdressing style magazines and let her pick her own style? ↑ |
Hi thankyou people. We did try all advice here and went to a salon. They said that the hair was too damaged to easily fix and she agreed and now has a shoulder lenght bob.
thanks
