hiya im 21 and got 2 girls a 4 yr old and a 8 month old. I was 16 when i was pregnant with my eldest. No labour was not as bad as i thought it would be but then again i was so high on the gas and air that i was given i was asleep through most of the birth with my eldest. She was 8 and a half hours but my youngest was 2 hours of sheer hell i had a back labour with her but i think it was worse because i was forced into labour instead of waiting for it to come naturally. How are you feeling?

MY HUSBAND AND I ARE LOOKING TO GIVE A BABY A GOOD HOME HAVE YOU CONSIDERED ADOPTION? EMAIL ME [email protected]
lamaze I know it sounds lame but, it really helps. Whatever you do don't let them make you lay down. Laying down slows your labor but not the pain. It helps to have a focal point during contrations. I found it hard to concentrate on things so I got one of those stress balls that you squeeze to help with stress. I used it every time I had a contration. The lamaze teacher said if you squeeze something in your hand it releases natural endorphines your bodies natural pain killers. There is also something called a peanut they have them at babies r us. I also learned about this in lamaze they say if you sit on the peanut and rock back and forth it also releases natural endorphines. the peanut is kind of like one of those excersize balls but it shaped like a peanut. I did these things with my daughter and really only the last ten minutes really hurt. email me [email protected]

hello sorry i didnt get back ive had problems connecting to this site. Glad ure ok. I dont wanna scare you with labour it does hurt and i agree with emma take the pain relief that you consider best. But the pains during labour are not easily remembered you just remember that they hurt the worst part about having children is the pain after its like a constant dull ache drives you mad but with a baby to look after you soon put it too one side. Hows the pregnancy going?

Missy im glad that stuff worked for you i had both the gas and air and the pethidine with my eldest and passed out where i was so high. I spent half my labour asleep. With my youngest i made a complete arse of myself and begged very loudly for an epidural(which i wasnt allowed as i was dialating to quick) i ended up breaking the bit for the gas and air that went in my mouth and spending the other hour bouncing on and off a gym ball with my arse on show to everyone.

Hi, my name is Lucianna. I have a 6 month old daughter, Charlotte. She was born on October 7th. I am 17 years old, but I was 16 when I found out I was pregnant.
Having a baby at 16, I can tell you is NOT easy. But I am sure Lucy, that you will do just fine.

Hi lucy, im 25, i found out i was pregnant wiv my 1st son wen i was 4mths gone, i was 24. I was 42wks overdue, I was booked into hospital on the 24th april 2006 to be induced, the midwife started me off at 12am, it was horrible, i had no sleep, the pains of the contractions were every 5mins, i was pacing up and down in the ward, i had paracetamol,a bath, the midwife did a vaginal examination at 6am, she said i was 9cm dilated, so they took me down to the delivery room, and they phoned my mam to come, i wanted the epidural, but they wouldnt give me it, so i was on gas and air, they were tellin me to push but i was so tired and i had no energy, by 12pm they did a episiotomy to help me deliver, i gave birth at 12.23pm, they held up a baby boy, i was shocked at 1st, i thought i was expectin a girl, gettin hes head out was the worse, then hes body just slid out, i neva felt hes body come out. They weighed him and said he was 8lb 1oz, i couldnt believe it, i didnt look that big. I was 6hrs in labour. They asked me if i want anymore, i said no, but the past few days, ive been in a wantin anova baby mood lol.Anyway I called him joseph, he'll be 1yr old on april 25.
