Hello everyone. My name is Vladmir. I am new to this forum.

I was born and raised in Russia. I lived there for 45 years. I served in the Russian military for 27 years (most of which in special forces). I moved to America 5 years ago.

Today my third wife who lives in California asked me to let our daughter (my youngest) live with me through high school. Haven't seen her in years. Apparently she is having behavior problems. She actually told her mother she hated her and wanted to come live with me. Very surprising.

She also is doing very poorly in school. She barely passed the ninth grade. My ex-wife thinks it would be good for her to come live with me. Says she needs the discipline I can provide her.

This scares the crap out of me. I'm fifty years old, retired and perfectly content relaxing and indulging in vodka and cigars. I have five children (two deceased) and never really raised any of them. My ex-wives raised them all. I was always gone in the military. And when I wasn't away in some third-world hell-hole I was an alcoholic. Actually I still am.

Guess it's time to break out that children-raising manual. Man, I need a drink bad. ↓

WELL A DRINK IS NOT GOING TO HELP U , U NEED TO CALL UR EX AND FIND OUT WHAT UR DAUGHTER IS DOING WRONG AND NOT ALLOW IT IN UR HOUSE, TELL UR DAUGHTER SHE WILL LIVE BY UR RULES AND WILL DO AS U SAY ,IT SOUNDS LIKE SHE IS WANTING TO RUN WILD AND HER MOTHER IS SAYING NO SO SHE THINKS IF SHE MOVES IN WITH U, U WILL LET HER DO AS SHE WANTS TO, U BETTER SET SOME GROUND RULES WITH HER BEFORE SHE COMES AND STAY WITH THEM, SHE WILL TRY TO OVER COME U BY BEING SWEET AND NICE TO SEE WHAT SHE CAN DO AND HOW FAR SHE CAN PUSH U. WHAT IM SAYING IS BE HER FATHER BUT DONT GIVE HER A INCH BECAUSE SHE WILL TAKE A MILE AND THEN U WILL HAVE THE TROUBLE ON UR HANDS. ↑
