Well as I wrote my purse was stolen and the things that were in it were stolen also. Well one of those things was replaced today. A man sent me an email about it being terrible that my purse was stolen and offered to sell me a camera for $40. I though well as long as it is a digital camera I can plug it into the computer and upload my pics. Do I drove to go get it and when I walked up to him he had a bunch of things in his hand and he started to hand them to me.I got a Cyber shot camera, Rechargeable batteries, the charger for said batteries, a memory card , the camera case ( a nice one) a USB cable and this neat thing that can read 6 different types of memory cards. He looked me in the eye and said " I stole a ladies purse once when I was 15 and after I realized everything I took from her I cried but I never gave it back. SO when I saw your posting I decided it was the right thing to do." I looked back through the postings and found where he had it on CL for $200 the day he wrote to me and sold it to me for $40. I felt so luckt and excited about getting it and now all I need to do is learn how to work it and I will be in the clear.

That is so awesome!!!
It's stories like this that restore my faith in humanity. Seriously, it takes a big person to admit to doing wrong and an even bigger person to try and find some way to rectify it even if it's by helping someone else.
Gives me the warm fuzzies!

Also, I have a cybershot, it's a good camera. You'll have it figured out in no time!

I was really getting into one of my times that I thought people should need a permit to speak to me. I took pictures with it at the Andy Worhol exhibit yesterday and of the opossum that has adopted me last night. I am just going to need to figure out how to get the pics onto the computer and then all of the little things like zoom and such.

If it's the same as mine then the zom is on the back top right.

As far as getting them onto to computer goes, plug the USB cord into your computer and the other end into your camera.
Make a folder on your desktop for pictures.(The only way I can find them is if they're right in front of my face so I always put them on the desktop.)
When the camera is plugged into the USB cord/computer then turn the power on the camera.

Your computer should give you a list of options and you want the one that says to copy pictures to computer. It's probably the first on on the list.

Then it'll ask you where to send them, click browse and find your folder, then press ok and they'll load into the folder.

Your computer might have different programs so I can't say if this is actually how you should do it on your computer but that's how it's done one mine.

Oooh! The "ISO" setting on your camera, that one is for when there's a lot of light, like if you were taking pictures outside on a sunny day.

If you scroll through the settings it should tell you on the screen of your camera what they're best for taking pictures of.

Wow thank you so much! There are about 100 different types of cybershots and mine is at least a little different than yours. I must take my memory card out and put it into a thing that plugs into the computer to download them but other than that it sounds the same.
