| I couldn't imagine how the families of all of those injured and killed must be feeling. Apparently there was 2 hours between the first and second lot of shootings and it started in a dorm as some kind of domestic dispute. And the coward then killed themself after taking out their frustration about their life on all of those innocent people. Gun laws should be a lot stricter IMO ↑ |

Its closer to home for you guys.....but when we had that mass shooting in Port Arthur its was VERY hard for Australians.
A LOT of people were worried about a repeat of it for a long time after.
But it brought attention to the subject....we had anti gun rallies...and we also had an amnesty for people to turn in firearms for cash rebates.
The only people permitted to keep firearms in Australia now, are sportsman (they MUST visit a shooting range at regular time intervals to hold a sporting gun license) and farmers...who need special permits.
My husband and I volunteered at the anti gun rally in Sydney, and Walter Mikac....the guy who lost his wife and two little girls was guest speaker. He did a lot of good work for this cause. And I believe still continues to do so. ↑ |

Concealed weapons permit laws make it easier for people to carry guns in america. I think that is why some people have been shot during road rage in our country. That law to carry concealed weapons should be changed! ↑ |

| speaking of life imprisonment.....boy i like the way the US does if its......."life"......usually means just that.......or longer. Here.....thats where i find it a joke. I watched a very long documentary on the attempt thoughout history to "reabilitate" inmates........let me tell you it was just a merry go round of it just not........being possible. The countless generations that have tried all to find....every effort every avenue has failed. Sad......and it was ya know........but based on fact and done by A&E the man that does so many of the "criminal" justice type shows or "cold file"? is another he does.......his name escapes me, but it was sooooooo well done. ↑ |

| Sarah, a foreign student (from S. Korea) went on a shooting spree and killed a total of 32 kids, including himself and injuring a bunch more. Very very sad and scary. I have no idea why a foreigner had a gun like that. People yell "constitutional rights" but he was not even a US citizen. Shoot forget airline regulations....those terrorists from Saudi Arabia can just come over here and buy all they need!!!! ↑ |
