I'm staying home probably having dinner with the family. I may have a small Christmas get together for the extended family, nothing big just a buffet style.

I haven't yet figured out what to get for my daughter, I'm sure I will think of some thing before Christmas. For me I don't really want any thing, Iv never really been a person with many wants.

So whats every one else doing? have any of you begun your Christmas shopping?

Like yourself, I'm staying at home for Christmas; having a small, hopefully pleasant and intimate celebration with my immediate family. The marketing company I work for is actually doing a Christmas campaign for Macy's that involves a Letters to Santa service. They put together a cool website to get people in the holiday spirit. You can view it at: http://www.macysbelieve.com/#
/YesVirginia?ga=communityact.

The site allows you to print out special stationary to have your kids (in your case your daughter) write the letters on, then you can go to Macy's and mail them. They set up special mailboxes in their stores. For every letter received, Macy's will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish foundation. It's a nice way to help spread Christmas cheer and help others in need celebrate the holidays.

well....we WERE going to stay home and go to the hotel/restaurant that I used to work at and have their xmas day dinner buffet....no cooking, no cleaning....beautiful thing....but NOW we decided to have xmas at my dad's again this year because we don't know if our house will be all packed up by xmas. hubby might be starting that job Jan. 5...we're still waiting on this appeal crap....lol...so yeah. we don't know what it will be like at our house by xmas time.

i told my dad though, that if he was going to invite the entire fkin' town like he did last year, that we wouldn't come. last year was a totally fkin' gong show. i'm soooooo not doing that again. so last year this was our xmas:

my dad, aunt, gramma, grandpa, brother, husband, my kids....ok that's GREAT...then MY mom (my dad's ex #1), my BROTHER'S mom (my dad's other ex #2), my brother's other sister (dad's ex #2's daughter) and their uncle....ok so now...getting a little weird but still ok as we all get along....THEN we had dad's ex #2's dad and his girlfriend, then dad's ex #2's mom and her boyfriend. so that was awkward...lol...but wait...it gets better...then my dad invited one of his friends...so he came with his girlfriend, and guess who also came? HIS ex wife and her boyfriend....O M F G !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah.,...NOT happening again. lol...

we did a draw again this year. put a limit on the amount we can spend.... saves alot of money. hubby and i just have to buy a couple things for the kids, and then i just have to buy for one person in the family. i ended up drawing hubby...lol..makes it easy. i know what he wants.
