Noah is driving me absolutely bonkers with his hitting and throwing things!! He walks up to me and just hits me or he climbs into my lap and hits my cheek. He hits Brian and the poor dog gets hit all the time. He'll hit with his empty hands or with his toys and he just hauls off and smacks you. I've tried telling him no, taking away his toys, popping him on the butt, making him sit in his chair for a couple minutes, smacking his hand, but when I do any of that he just comes back and hits even more and harder like he's mad. He's also started throwing things. I was sitting at the computer desk and he was playing with his blocks behind me and the next thing i know a block comes whizzing past my head. I'm going crazy with this and don't know what to do to stop it because whatever I try just seems to make it worse!

How old is Noah??? I'm going through the same thing with my two. Im finding it so hard as they just seem so naughty and bratty at the moment...this throwing thing....they did it at about 18 months when theyd finished a beaker....but nmow....its anything that comes to hand and they just throw it. They pull hair and jush bash eachother over the head and me....its not nice...anybody who knows how to deal with it....please lol....i kinda get anxious as theyr getting bigger, stronger and in 3 months the baby'll be here.

i tired taking the toys away that they were throwing and explaining it was because they were "Baddies" and only "Goodies" have toys and I make them kiss me or kiss eachother or kiss the person theyv hurt if they hurt someone, they pat the person on the head as well, so cute!

but that just....it doesnt work all the time...they throw something else...they have like tantrums and get angry and squeal and Poppy even SHAKES. She screams and she's so angry she sorta gritts her teeth and sorta shakes with the anger....when we eat dinner, they wind me up by throwing things like grapes or dropping them or their spoons and stuff, and laugh ya know....just doing it to hurt me. Its like they know that im stressed and tired and they take advantage.

Noah..he needs time out..i know you have tried it..but its consitancy that is needed...you cant try a bunch of different punishments..you need to stick with the same one for the same thing..since he is young try two minutes set him there and explain why he is their..after two minutes explain to him again why he was there..It takes awhile and you cant give up..but if you dont do the same thing every time he wont associate it..with a punishment..

hellooo ladies, Tana is the same at the moment.......oh the poor dog gets the worst of it. He seems to do it just after a good cuddle with me, he looks me right in the eye, and smacks me. We are trying the time out.......hard with a 2 year old though.
