anyone have good wedding stories? how was your wedding?
When i married my ex we got married in Vegas in a drive thru at 2 am..it was planned..i wore jeans and a white tank top with a beautful veil..we spent the next few days enjoying Vegas..kept the wedding cheap and spent the cash on the honeymoon ↓

| i got married in Vegas too!!! :-) it was also planned....and a bunch of family and friends came along also. we decided to rent a motorhome and we travelled all aloing the oregon coast and through California and then into Vegas. YAY!!! it was so much fun....we spent 5 days in Vegas and then spent three weeks just travellin around...so much fun. except there was a petting zoo we decided to check out somewhere in Oregon, can't remember what the place was called....anyways.....they had a couple of apes there....they bounce this basketball back forth to eachother and it's so cute right? so what do you do naturally? you go up to the cage...totally distracted by the apes and not reading the sign that says to stay back from the cage cause they think it's fun to throw their poop at you!!! well you can guess what happened!!!! luckily we were in a motorhome so i could go shower and change right away!!! ha ha ↑ |

um we were married in our backyard with a celebrant ..as we were saying our vows and looking oh so pious....when over the fence comes these two clear voices...
."hey mac how the f**k are you?"....
"brian...man i havent seen you in f**kin ages"
it took all our strength to wipe the grins off our faces...even the celebrant couldnt stop smilin!!! :-))
i gave them a couple of slaps when i saw them after the formallities had ended...it was so funny!...they didnt even know they could be heard...hahahahahahahah
i have it immortalised though...it is lovely and clear on our wedding video....LOL ↑ |

My wedding was uneventful... We got married in my grandparents backyard in front of family and a few close friends. I guess the only thing that happened (it pissed my dad and grandparents off, but I killed myself laughing) was my brother and his best friend showed up late and instead of wearing their suits, they were wearing jeans, straw hats and button up black shirts... with HUGE embroidery on them. My brothers was a giant eagle and his friends was a giant deck of cards LOL They looks so out of place in wedding pictures.
Then we had a reception a country club. Beforehand, they took us around in golf carts and took our pictures in front of the ocean, on bridges, in front of waterfalls... our pictures are gorgeous. We ate an awesome dinner and then cut the cake. My cake had wafer under the icing to help keep it's shape. Everyone thought I was retarded when I was trying to cut it. We had to get the kitchen to give us a serated knife and my MIL came and sawed pieces off. It was hilarious. The room we were in was amazing.

I bet your wedding was so much fun though! Mine was planned and we had to follow such a schedule. We did get over 700 pictures and our photographer did a DVD slideshow and put all the pictures onto discs for us, our parents and our wedding party.

| that is beautiful..i bet you had a lot of fun...mine wasnt fun really.except after wards having fun in vegas..but we got married at 2 am so we had to really wait till the next day to do anything..and honeslty it was the 2 of us only..and he wasnt a fun outgoing guy..now if my boyfriend and i got married there now..we would have a blast..scott just wasnt a social guy unless he knew you ↑ |

| We got married in a church and then had the reception at a dinner hall and actually only spent $5000 total on the wedding. At the church the organist played the bridal march for the flower girl and the pastor was so strict that he wouldn't let anyone who arrived late enter the church because it would disrupt the service. Then the photogropher got lost on his way to the lake where we were taking pictures before the reception which ended up making us an hour late for our own reception. At the reception, the top 2 layers of my cake fell, the DJ played music that was on my do not play list, my parents-in-law left for 2 1/2 hours of the reception, the inlaws still had to have their pictures taken there so the photographer had to stay late, people who did not rsvp showed up, people who did not rsvp for their children brought their children, there were people there who (from my side of the family) actually wore jeans and a sweatshirt, I had to argue with my dad that he could not bring a keg (I had a cash bar as I didn't really want alcohol there at all), and one of my dad's friends had to be escorted off the premisis. I think that was everything LOL ↑ |
