I work 8am-7pm mon-thur and from home on fri and sat. I get up at 6 am go in the shower, get my folios out, wait for my youngest to wake play with her until 7am then I leave everything in the hands of the au pair. She takes my triplets to school, she bakes with Lily and gives Leila cuddles and kisses. Then collects the triplets and plays with them in the garden. She might take them out and then cooks them dinner. When I come home they tell me Tein did this tein did that. I thought that I could be a good mum by sending them to a private school but it's more. I feel really guilty does anyone else?

hi. I think moms will always feel guilty its part of our job. I work 24 hour shifts then have 48 hours off. In the 24 hours I do work my husband or inlaws take care of the kids. This works great but the kids are often nagging that they dont see me etc. Dont beat yourself up, being a mum is hard work anyway we do it.

I feel privileged to work away from home only 3 days a week but I have to wake my kids up at 6 and we don't get home until 6. The days I'm home, I have a 2 1/2 year old who goes non-stop so I can't leave him for a second. Then I have the regular stuff to do and some days I feel like I've been grumpy with my kids all day. Do the best you can and teach your children to be forgiving. I was so much more able to forgive my mom when I became a mom. She just did the best she could and now I realize how hard she worked and how hard it was to make the choices she made...I hope my kids see that.

I love that. Teach your kids to be forgiving. Thats a fab way of looking at things. Thanks jamberrt
