| I have the same boy has you. I finely lost it and punch the crap out of him while screaming foul language at him. Smash his toys and destroyed his wii. He has behaved great now for the last 2 week . I have told him I will do it again and the only way to stop me is to run to your room keep your mouth shut and let me carm down and if you don't care . I will wreck you ripstick and bash you with it. Where every day was a nightmare. I was thinking of suicide if it wasn't for the other 3 kid I properly would have. Cruel to be kind old days. My son is on ADHD with violent tendencies and on meds also and he too has all the same problems as yours. I have been trying something small but It has really helped. Actually these two things one is tell him in advance exactly what I expect of him then have him repeat it back to me for Example: Before we go into the gas station I will tell him that I am running in to get me something but He is not to ask for one thing. He normally does pretty good. The other thing I do is talk to him differently. lets say he was caught climbing another persons fence. I use to tell him you can not go over there any more today because you can not stay off that fence. Now how ever I tell him you were on that fence now you know you can not go back down there today. Before when I would put the disapline first and then the action he done wrong he never really heard me say why he could not go back down there because he was already throwing the skateboard against the wall but by changing the way I say things gets his attention first
And that is important because we really only have a 5 seconds to get through to them before they are no longer listening to us, you know. ↑ |
I tried Express Focus and I saw great results in a couple weeks. My son liked doing the exercises which helped too!
