All of you should stop complaining. I have to pay $5,000 to have my baby. My insurance is OK but the maternity is horrible.

my insurance didn't cover the full cost of delivery. for myself we had to pay $854 we are still waiting to find out what is left for us to pay for our daughter. It's pending insurance at this moment. We had a $500 co-pay and then after that we have to pay 15%

With my son I ended up not having to pay anything because I worked for the hospital (got employee discount) and I had insurance through the hospital plus I turned 23 right before he was born so I was covered by my parents policy too.
With Belle I was covered 100% too but I would have been VERY VERY upset if I showed up for an appointment and they wanted my 500 dollars and I was caught offguard!
And wow it is very humbling when I see how much some of you had to pay.

With Noah I had to pay 150 dollars a month starting with my second visit all the way until I delivered. We have better insurance this time so hopefully I won't have to do that.

Yeah with my son I had to pay $100 with each visit which freaked me out because i was like how in the hell am i going to come up with $100 a visit when we reach going to the doctor every 2 weeks or every week. Well by the time that I reach having to go every 2 weeks I nolonger had to pay anything. However I still had to pay $1800 for myself because the OBGYN that I was going to was out of network so they insurance only paid 20%. I can not remember what the hospital bill for Ethan was.
