Congrats on the pups...My dog went to 64 days..I was suppose to be out of my house but something told me to stay home..She was acting crazy and leaking discharge everywhere. She kept pawing at the covers, so i showed her her pen..She stayed their the rest of the night and about 2 hours later she gave birth...the first 7 came within about 4 hours..then she went about an hour and a half..We thought she was done so we went to clean her and out popped another baby on the floor..We though my goodness she must be done now...nope after 14 puppies she was done...14 puppies my goodness...it was such an amazing experience

Congrats! All 8 pups healthy and strong. Sounds like mum did a good job. :) You must be so proud! Enjoy these next few weeks! It'll be brilliant caring for them.

Atomicsnowflake, I disagree. To many people, usually the better pet owners, pets are a treasured member of the family, and are like children to their owners. To me, my dogs are my babies, and I treat them well. I recognise the difference in the species, and I train them in obedience, and treat them as dogs. But they are my much-loved babies. What harm does that do other than develop a lasting and fantastic bond between owner and pet? I honestly don't know what your comment is trying to achieve other than try to facilitate further argument.

message to nckeeptryin, lol randi is clearly a jumped up bitter face person, i cant see that many people can read her comments and agree, at the end of the day whther or not someone thinks a person has a made a mistake regardless to the situation, what on earth is the point in going on about the bad points, fact is it happened so make the best out of it, im in the same situation and panic daily constantly on phone to vet too, so its not omg my dog is preg its hooray some beautiful little souls are to be bought into this world and are full of love and happiness for everyone, what is wrong with that if its all done sensibly, randi randi randi, was u bullied at school and thats y u have a disgusting attitude love, or are you just bitter that u didnt make it to be a vet lol

and may i add to randi that never intended on passing comment to you but as i read on i was astounded at your bitterness, surely have you have some good advice for people on here, i totally see your points but not to be put in such a harsh wa6y, as i said no good trying to right a wrong when its already happened, instead use your experience and knowledge to help the people that are asking for it, you'll only make enemies being so horrible about it, and to be fair i dont know you as none of us do so i had no right to pass comment on who you are, i just get angry when i see comments like the ones you have made, whether they are meant in goodwill or not, maybe be a bit less stern next time lol
