I was thinking of avoiding it by having a hysterectomy. lol...im not kidding..i think i have a phobia of the menopause...the idea of it scares the pants of me...read to many stories about it I think. I started my periods when I was 10...so have been having them for a long time!...and i cant wait to stop having them permanentley but the menopause....really really scares me. Hopefully i have a few years left before i go through it! ↑ |

| Mine started with heavy periods...I mean bad...some days I could barely leave the house...I would have awful cramps as well...This was strange for me also because I never had trouble before like that...So I went to the Doctor not knowing why...She said I was pre menopausal...Im was like WTF Im 36....Of corse my mom was like Noway I was 50 and traditionaly you go like your mother...Well I blew it off and didnt think of it again...I kept having awful periods for about 4 years..Then the hot flashes started last year I was 42...I went for a estogen (sp) test and yep I was in menopaus..Then the periods stopped for 3 months had a couple hard periods then stopped again...then another and now havent for 6 months again but the hot flashes have stopped as well...Im sure not forever though...couldnt be that lucky... ↑ |
