Try not to stress over it...I know, that's easier said than done. I have a sister that used to call DFS on me everytime she got mad at me. It sucks because they can call and not give a name, but it still screws with your life.

Lynne - First off that was a terrible thing to say, you need to grow up and start acting your age.
Saxton - Hiddy has a good point, record the conversations had, it can be benefical for you. Not saying anything will go wrong, but it would be good to have these kind of things on file for the future.

UPDATE::
So i get up this morning feelin sick with worry and stressed, me and my mum start to give the house a good clean so everythin looks perfect for when ss come, then the post comes and theres another leta from ss sayin they have had to cancel todays meeting and someone will come next week instead...
for f****s sake what are they tryin to do to me?? how can they just cancel it the same day... this is so stupid im really mad... ↑ |

That sux!
They can't be all that concerned though, if they've cancelled it for a week. If they were really worried about your child they'd be round quick smart to see what's going on. It's a good sign really.
Make sure that your house isn't too tidy though - leave some toys around and get your child to do some painting then go out and buy a couple of those cheap clip frames so that you can hang some of their art work up on the wall.
and
place a bowl of fruit somewhere they can see it.
and
make sure that the place smells of baking and fresh coffee too! Yummy.... ↑ |
