yeah apparently the back right deals with vision. But the other things she has means she probably has bits of her brain missing on that side as well but until she is scanned we dont know where. Dont know if i want to know to be honest.

she also has a turn in her left eye, its really obvious when shes tired but as long as the eyes are healthy the doctor said its very unlikely she will be completley blind.

Cians eye corrected its self and it was mostly when he was tired aswell. And its not as if she can tell them yet what she can see so they are only guessing themselves. So far she can see you so even if she has slight vision loss nothing a little pair of glasses probably couldnt fix. They say babies see strong colours best like black against white so by you playing with her you can prob work if there is much damage.
You are really at the worst part right now learning all whats wrong and not having answers. So just think it will only get easier especially as she grows and can answer you back!

yeah, she will probably be a cheeky little madam. she already has a bit of a temper on her!

Dont know what you think but to me that is a good sign. Her personality is coming through already. Even if it is a temper!

No work 3 days a week. Swap days if i need to for hospital/physio appoints or what ever else comes up! My family really help me out with him he is on mid-term this week so his granny has him for the day. Would be lost without them. His dad isnt around anymore, left before he was diagnosed.

Thats cause women think different then men. Does your family live near where you could run around for a cuppa and let them coo over the baby while you put your feet up.
Just thinking have you applied for any special allowance for Abbie? I recieve domicilary allowance which is an allowance for children who need extra care and attention.

didnt think about any allowances or anything.my mum lives quite near but she refuses to accept that something may be wrong, and my partner refuses to talk about it.

My heart goes out to you Kellie. Its hard enough for you never mind trying to do it alone. Was anybody there for you yesterday with the doctor? I know its not much help but if you do need to let things out of your system i log on the days i am in work (off tomorrow). Hopefully they will both come round soon. Its not fair on you.

thanks. her dad came with me yesterday, but we go in and talk to the doctor then once we come out he doesnt want to talk about it, but i find that really difficult. maybe he just deals with things differently. have to go now its my mums birthday so i have to pay her a visit. But once again thanks, i really appreciate you listening to me moan all the time!!!

Don't blame yourself for what happened to yr bambino theres always a reasonable explanation why he suffered with hydrocephalus, if you have any questions about it ask the doc what it was caused by. You need to stay strong for your sake as well as yr bubs, if you don't you will more than likely go through post natal depression which isn't good, trust me I've had it myself. I feel for you be strong & god bless you and yr baby.
