I was posting for a gift basket idea, and remembered, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, and FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!!!! The best movies. My friend had actually never seen them.
Book and movie made from it. WHERE THE HEART IS. ↑ |
Charla-and everyone else who likes true movies, try, Lorenzo's Oil. It is a true story of parents who have a son with a rare disease, and this couple actually comes up with a treatment. You have to see it.

the very first time i watched i remember i was 6 and it was with my mimi and she said "now sit here and watch this wonderful movie with your mimi" i remember i wasnt to thrilled it was in black and white for god sakes!!! as i thought the world was black and white in the 50's and 60's at age 6 !!! but when it was over i wanted to watch it again and again!!! ↑ |
I don't have time to skim through everything that was put, but if you like Stephen King books you should try reading Dean Koontz! He's awesome. My fav, so far out of all the books of his that I read was Odd Thomas. The ending literally had me in tears, but I will not put why because I wouldn't want to ruin the ending for any of you that decides to read it which I definately recommend! ↑ |
I will try that Farrah, Charla, that is how I feel about Stella Dallas. Try to catch it on turner. ↑ |
My daughter and I went to see Lady in the water last night. I loved it. It is like a fairy tale for today’s viewers. It does have scary moments, I yelled out in the theatre from a big scare. Also very funny. I felt good leaving the theatre, it creates hope in humanity, something we all need. ↑ |
i think ill have to check it out, ive been wanting to see it. ↑ |
