scare tactic my ass!!! go on with your copy and paste bull crap m! i don't give a flip! but you can NOT tell me that a fetus does not feel pain!!! you know what though? i will give you the benifit of the doubt and i will ask my gynocologist about it. but as for the story....i most certainly DO believe it!

M why don't you research and cut and paste. Yes, they can put a scope into a uterus as they are doing an abortion. It's called transvaginal ultrasound. I am sure they do do it to make sure they get everything. Atomic Snowflake, you have observed it, I have not, what do you say?????

It is not about disappointing me michelle. I am just reporting what I have read. The american medical association is a very reputable source. Stimulas responses are not the same as feeling pain. Really--it does not matter for you or me. I am not--and I am sure you are not going to have an abortion.

What
of The Silent Scream?

A Realtime ultrasound video tape and movie of a 12- week suction abortion is commercially available as, The Silent Scream, narrated by Dr. B. Nathanson, a former abortionist. It dramatically, but factually, shows the pre-born baby dodging the suction instrument time after time, while its heartbeat doubles in rate. When finally caught, its body being dismembered, the baby’s mouth clearly opens wide — hence, the title (available from Heritage House '76 at http:www.heritagehouse76.com). Proabortionists have attempted to discredit this film. A well documented paper refuting their charges is available from National Right to Life, 419 7th St. NW, Washington, DC 20004, $2.00 p.p. A short, 10-minute video showing the testimony of the doctor who did the abortion in Silent Scream definitely debunks any criticism of Silent Scream’s accuracy. The Answer, Bernadel, Inc., P.O. Box 1897, Old Chelsea Station, New York, NY, 10011.

Yes I have heard of vaginal ultrasounds--but not being performed simultaneously with an abortion! I think the prolife campaigns would be all over that if it was true!

" Critics say the real impact of the film comes from Nathanson's loaded language. "The pictures themselves are just not clear and convincing," says Falkenberg. "If eleven different doctors saw the film, there could be eleven different interpretations of what they saw." Indeed, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists went on record last year as saying the unborn child does not feel pain during an abortion."

Don't get mad at me because the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists went on record last year as saying the unborn child does not feel pain during an abortion. I am not the expert--just the researcher!

i'm not getting mad at you...i am simply saying that is bull!

I really can not talk about this anymore--it is making me sick.

No hon you are not a researcher. A researcher finds all info, objectively and unbiased from all sides. You are clearly biased and just cut and pasting what you want. Not even willing to listen to someone who has personally touched and cared for a 23 week gestation BABY. A researcher gathers all pertinant data and statistics. then does their own BLIND and Objective studies. Oh and yes for my nursing degree I had to take a class in statistics and Research.

Me too M. And it makes me sick that I don't hear from you at all when I start a post about how to make it easier for women to have other options. This is obviously the only option that works for you, lets not discuss how positive changes can be made to benifit both the mother AND the child.

PLEEAASSEE get off my ass about this. I have quoted some of the most reputable medical authorities in america. The American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Name: M | Date: Apr 20th, 2007 11:50 PM
You are obsessed with this subject--I am sorry I ever said anything!

Name: homemommichele | Date: Apr 20th, 2007 11:51 PM
Not on your ass, but please do not call yourself a researcher and act like you know it all and have credentials yourself.
You have quoted drs that perform abortions, and a lobbying group. I have spoken from real life observations and standard of care.
We can agree to disagree. However I would like to discuss alternatives for families, besides this!!

Easier to have other options--now who is living in a fantasy land?

Name: homemommichele | Date: Apr 20th, 2007 11:53 PM
Fantasy land???
Lets just have abortion on demand???? Lets not try to actually care about our women and children in our country????? Lets not debate ways we can do that???? Lets just have abortion on demand. Why not??? Obsessed. No. Educated. Yes. Obsessed..... you are the one that started all of these posts today.

Sorry to hear that lana.

Name: M | Date: Apr 20th, 2007 11:57 PM
homemommichelle--you call it abortion on demand---is that how you think women view it. Now that sounds biased!

Name: M | Date: Apr 20th, 2007 11:58 PM
I bet you want to put all those women in a line up for a firing squad by the way you talk!

Name: homemommichele | Date: Apr 20th, 2007 11:59 PM
Abortion on demand. I am referring to the current law that is abortion on demand up until 24 weeks. that is not biased, that is the law.

Name: homemommichele | Date: Apr 21st, 2007 12:00 AM
I thought you were done with me.
obviously you missed my post that I started wanting to talk about other alternatives to abortion, I don't think the death penalty was even mentioned by me. keep putting words in my mouth dear.

She talks about the twins alot! She has 3 sons and they know there brothers are in heaven! Every year on there birthday they let a few little ballons go! One of the twins died before the other a few days later the other died, a few days after that they induced her and she gave birth to them after a 14 hour labour! That would be so hard.. I have had a misscarage at 9 weeks and it was hard when it happend but it would have been worse later on!~ Id would have to be sedated if i lost one of my kids! hate to even think about it
