I have a boxer mix we believe with grey hound no positive though very hyper wont lay down at all needs constant attention but very good watch dog we had her in the house when you leave she would destroy everything but i have always wanted a pure bred boxer and we found her in a single wide trailer park with no yard we felt sorry for her and she was in the free ads she will be 2 this month sometime but if grey hounds are hyper which im sure they are because their a racing breed mine has it twice as bad ive raised alot of dogs and never had one this hyper and also have people tell me they have never seen a dog this hyper i love her to death but she may have to go we stay with my dad now he dont believe in haveing dogs in the house and shes outside tied with lots and lots of straw.

I just got a 5 week old pitbull and boxer mix for as young as she is she is really smart al though she was the smallest of 7 but isnt to much smaller and i only kennel her for when she is bad or when we sleep of a night to anyone who owns one or one or the other a great way to train in the kennel we found out from a pup we have which was a pit and lab mix was everytime unless she is bad when shes in the kennel is to buy a kong ball and put treats in it and give it to them which is a way for them to intertain themselves and to get treated for being in there-

I have read alot of your posts and finally got my other half to see these dogs aren't as agressive as they think. I have a chance to get a boxer/pit pup, the only draw back is I live in a townhouse and I'm afraid he/she woudn't have room to play. I already have a 5 year old Shih Tzu, she is friendly with cats but stays away from other dogs. I have read they are very smart but hyper dogs. Does anyone have a reason I shouldn't get this pup?

I just adopted 2 what where suppose to have been full blooded boxers. They have all the markings of a boxer, including the big heads, talk cropped, fawn and white with the black mask. I was told that they where 4 months old. They don't have the smushed nosies, nut its not that long of a snout either. Any suggestions?? Or will they get that as they get older? I have had 2 older boxers in the past , just never as puppies.

I have a pitbull boxer and she is absolutely wonderful. She minds well and gets along great with people. The only problem she has is that when somebody moves too fast around me she will start to bark! She does not bite! The way that i taught her to get along with people is too bring people over and teach her. I also give her snacks if she is good! I treat her very well but not like she is a princess!

I am getting a pittbull, boxer and lab mixed dog. he is adorable I get him on the 28 of feb when he will be 8 weeks old.
For anyone who doesn't already know this you should not feed a pitbull beef, lamb or pork. This is one of the reason why pitbulls are hyper and sometimes out of control. They see red meat and they get chemically imbalance which is not good.
If there is anymore Advise you can give me let me know. I have have 11 year old daughter and a 17 month old son and I hear they are great with kids.
